About Amanda

Amanda Connelly is the CEO of Oceans Coaching, a Master Certified Executive & Leadership Coach (MCC), the highest credential awarded by the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Master Cognitive Behavioral Practitioner known for catalyzing bold leadership and enterprise-wide behavior change.

Why I Founded Oceans Coaching

I founded Oceans Coaching with a conviction that has only grown stronger: exceptional leaders create greater impact when development extends beyond the individual to the relationships, conditions, and systems shaping their ability to lead.

Throughout my corporate career, including work shaping people strategy within one of the nation’s largest healthcare companies. I experienced leadership from inside large, interconnected organizations. Alongside other accomplished executives, I navigated competing priorities, cross-functional relationships, shifting expectations, and decisions whose impact reached far beyond a single role or team.

That experience showed me what becomes possible when leadership growth and the surrounding system evolve together.

Leaders gain greater clarity about how they want to lead. Teams develop stronger ways of working together. Conversations become more candid and productive. Decisions move forward with greater alignment, and the organization’s most important priorities gain momentum.

That possibility became the foundation of Oceans Coaching.

I created the firm to offer a more complete approach, one that develops the leader while helping them understand and influence the system they lead. Our work connects personal growth to organizational priorities, strengthening the conversations, relationships, and decisions that move performance forward.

This belief shaped our See → Design → Move → Sustain framework: see what is truly influencing performance, design a purposeful path forward, move insight into action, and sustain the changes that matter.

It also informs the Oceans Systemic Team Coaching Model™ and SOHA™, our Systemic Organizational Health Assessment. Together, these approaches help leaders and teams make essential dynamics visible, identify meaningful points of leverage, and build the collective capacity to create sustainable results.

The impact reaches beyond the individual. Leaders grow. Teams work differently. Organizations become stronger.

That is why I founded Oceans Coaching, and it remains the standard behind every engagement we lead.
